Amazing day on THE HILL

Incredible days at our beautiful US Capital! Great day on THE HILL! The day addressed Title IX changes and HR5, The Parental Rights bill which was being debated on the House floor when I was there and HR5 passed The House! While there appears to be overwhelming support some Republican house members were voting against the bill stating the government does not have a constitutional authority over regulating local education agencies.

Further discussed was how the parental rights bill won't have the appropriate affect at the state level in some cases because certain bills which fund the harm of families are still intact. We further discussed CAPTA (Child Abuse and Prevention Treatment Act) Reauthorization, ASFA (Adoption and Safe Family Act) reform, getting states to use the FFPS Act (Family First Prevention Services Act), a Parent Miranda Rights, and a National Justina Pelletier's Law (Medical Kidnapping).

I ran into so many great legislators in the hallways! Always great to be there!
